What is DTG Direct-to-Garment?
This process makes it possible to print multicolored designs with a screen-printed look. The fabric is stretched into a large printer that is capable of printing directly onto the material. First, the textile is sprayed with a water-vinegar solution to prevent the ink from sinking in. The machine then automatically prints the motif. For colored or dark textiles, a
white base is pre-printed to ensure that the colors appear brilliant and high-contrast. Finally, the textile is dried in a dryer.
