DIGITAL SCREENPRINT TRANSFER

Digital Screenprint transfer (DST), is comparable with a conventional Screenprint Transfer.
The only difference is, that the colored part of the grafic is printed with a laser printer on a transfer foil, which will be overprinted with a screenprint white and a glue. One of the biggest advantage is the possibility to print whole images or grafics with a lot of colors.

But what do you need a screen print transfer for? 

Screen print transfers got a the big advantage to be stockable. If you have an onlineshop with printed shirts for example, you don't have to produce hundreds of shirts in hope you'll going to sell em all. You can easily stock your transfers and print on demand when there is an order. Another field of application is workwear or periodic grafics in small runs. Also with hard to print spots which are not applicable by direct screen print to garmet, such as backpacks.  

 

Anything to keep in mind?

With this technique we have to print a thin outline (0,3mm) in the color of the shirt or the grafic, to prevent a visible glue outline.
